中心活动
·3月 北京大学为培养非洲文学研究高级人才，特批准非洲研究中心副主任、外国语学院亚非系主任魏丽明教授提出的调剂名额的申请。
·3月29日，美国公谊会（the American Friends Service Committee）中国处代表张杰生先生（Jason Tower)和非洲分会负责人Dereje Wordofa一行访问非洲研究中心，与刘海方、博士生黄立志和硕士生刘少楠讨论非洲当前的和平安全与发展问题。
·3月30日，香港大学博士生Simone Raudino访问非洲研究中心，与刘海方交流中非和欧非经贸合作关系的异同。
·3月30日上午，李安山应邀为北京大学模拟联合国协会的2012年全国高中生大会作题为“中非合作与援助”的主题讲演。
·3月30日中午，非洲研究中心举行工作会议，讨论建设教育部地区国别基地建设会议的后续事宜，中心核心成员出席会议。
·3月30日晚，李安山应北大国关团委之邀为今年主题为“培养青年的国际视野——走进非洲”的文化节作题为“世界历史进程中的非洲”的首场主题讲演。
