Beijing Consensus, Washington Consensus and African Development held in the Center for African Studies 

On June 14, 2012, Beijing Consensus, the Washington Consensus and African Development, the mini-forum was held in the Center for African Studies in Room C105 School of International Studies Building. Special Advisor to the Minister of Education, former Zimbabwe Minister of Education, former official for United Nations Children’s Fund, Doctor Fay King Chung and Ambassador of  People's Republic of China in Rwanda Shu Zhan gave a speech at the forum respectively. Ms Merriden Varrall, Official for United Nations Development Program on Education, Zheng Zhenqing from School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University, Professor Pan Huaqiong from History Department of School of International Studies and Professor Li Anshan, Director in the Center for African Studies of Peking University presented at the forum. Students from different departments and international students from Africa also took an active part in the forum. The forum was host by Liu Haifang, Deputy Director & Secretary General of the Centre for African Studies, Peking University.
